I hurt more but feel better than after any practice yet. I wanted to tell Coach Tyfoyed Gary that I might need to just practice skating (going and stopping) if we start doing advanced drills, but I didn't... and he did advanced drills.
prefaced with "Everyone will be participating. You are a team. Work it out. If you can't, I'll be telling to you leave the rink and take your skates off."
I still felt shaky, but it was awesome. I made it all practice, mostly with the group, (when they skated backwards I did not,) fell on my ass once, the rest were knees and most were on purpose!
I need to do laundry. I'm on the 3rd floor- it's in the basement. I'm not sure I can do the stairs 3 flights, 3 round trips. I have enough underwear for a few more days, but I don't have the time on those days... dilemma!
*yesterday at the gym a guy saw me practicing skating, came in and we started talking about skating and life changes/paths. Sweat was dripping off me. He wiped it off with his fingers and smelled it, "It's beautiful when women sweat." I totally feel like Drew Barrymore after "thin man" smells her hair that he ripped out.
Now food and ice the bum!
